Good Grip

A traditional Nordic hunting and fishing knife with a delicately carved checkered handle. 21 cm. long.

JSC Knife #365(b) - Good Grip

To prevent ones hand from slipping on the handle, I decided to carve an entire area of in a  checkered area for a better grip. The sheath is a regular Nordic style made from semi-tanned leather with additional air brush paint applied in a faded design.

Knife blade: Forged carbon steel by Poul Nielsen, Denmark. Length 7.5 cm.
Knife handle: Turkish walnut, spacer, aluminum, mammoth tusk
Knife sheath: Semi-tanned leather, air brush paint
